Project Scope and Concept: As a result of its rapid expansion since the late 1990’s, the law firm of Harris Beach understood the need to develop a simple, unified standard of design goals that would help tie its various locations together to create the familiar look and feel of a “family” of offices. The look of these offices was to be warm and welcoming, but still professional. In addition, the design had to effectively integrate changing technology needs. Key considerations included natural light and view for all, natural materials, standardized ergonomic office furniture, effective sound and view control, flexible planning, and unified conference center design to assure standardized practice and delivery of legal services.
